How to restrict uploads to currently edited site

/{{currentSite.handle}}/
but this uses current site handle, not the site I'm currently editing. Is there a way to dynamically set folder to currently edited site?

upload_max_filesize & post_max_size set to 1GB

'maxUploadFileSize' => 1073741824
Yet if I try to upload files larger than 256MB I get a modal message saying file size exceeds 256MB. …
