I have Craft CMS 3.6.5.1 and have installed Knock Knock plugin because I want to password protect a page on my website BUT NOT MY HOMEPAGE.

There is a tab option that is labeled URLs and within it, there are two text areas.

1. Protected URLs Provide a list of URLs to protect with a password. By default, this will be the entire site. You can use absolute or relative URLs and aliases. Regex is also supported (for example /some-channel/(.*)). One URL per line.

www.mysite.ca/about/

2. Unprotected URLs Provide a list of URLs to be excluded from password protection. By default, this will be empty. You can use absolute or relative URLs and aliases. Regex is also supported (for example /some-channel/(.*)). One URL per line.

www.mysite.ca/

When I add my URL to my homepage on the Unprotected URls knock knock it just doesn't seem to work and completely removes the password protection altogether. Is there a way to have the homepage unprotected while protect some inner pages of my website?

Change the first field to just “about” and keep the unprotected field blank and that should work? Feb 16 at 20:23
