It seems that an issue that was solved in craftcms 2.6.2991 is reintroduced afterwards. I have just updated a site to version 2.6.2997 and the exactly the same error that was there prior to version 2.6.2991 is reappearing again on php 7.x environments

  • Can you enable devMode and edit the question to show the full stack trace leading up to the error? – Brad Bell Nov 20 '17 at 14:59
  • That is a notice/warning that was introduced in PHP 7.1 (see stackoverflow.com/a/42044413/1688568). There are countless places where it could potentially occur, so we’d need to see your stack trace to have an idea of what the culprit is this time. You can get that by enabling Dev Mode, as Braid said, or you might be able to find it by searching for the error in craft/storage/runtime/logs/. – Brandon Kelly Nov 20 '17 at 16:06
  • I might have underdone it a bit.. I hope it is readable enough, if not let me know – Tim Bertens Nov 20 '17 at 17:39

The error appears to be coming from the Imager plugin:

https://github.com/aelvan/Imager-Craft/blob/master/imager/services/ImagerService.php#L1025

Make sure you're using the latest version, and then potentially post an issue here:
